"Dead End Discoveries at Davis St."

On the afternoon of April 23rd, 2022, a Flushing-bound 7 train snakes above the partially flooded, dead end area of Davis Street in Long Island City, NY. Hidden on this dead end street, under the New York City Transit Flushing Line elevated structure, lies an abandoned 1950s Jaguar Mark VIII Saloon, which mysteriously showed up within the past couple of years. As the surrounding area continues to develop with high rise condos and a "new" rail yard for East Side Access, the automobile sits awaiting an unknown fate; a treat to those who can appreciate an old classic.
