CSX welded rail train W049 heads south past the former West Shore/ New York Central Railroad Highland Falls Station on the CSX River Subdivision. Highland Falls Station was constructed in the early 1880s and remained active till the 1950s, when the New York Central Railroad ended passenger service on the line. The station house now serves as a private residence and the office of the Highland Falls RV Park & Marina.
